Need to cruise!

As we go through the the first weeks of spring and put the winter behind us, I spend my time daydreaming about the upcoming cruise to the Eastern Caribbean in July with the Rogers, Kelleys, and Basses.

Rain!

Well, we did bring rain to Texas! And it was needed! Grandma Rogers loved Garth and Kate's house in Carrollton. We spent all day driving around neighborhoods in Frisco just to get the feel of the city. Found a couple of houses that I'd like to look at.....that will be the next visit in April. Now I am looking at houses on the web and using Mapsco to locate them. I keep telling Guy that we need a house with a pool or jaccuzi so that the kids will want to visit us!
Our niece, Ashley, and her friend, Amber, met us for dinner at Babe's on Saturday night. Sure will be nice to have family so close to us again.

Bailey

As we get ready to head Dallas this weekend, all I can think about are the bluebonnets. I hope that they are blooming by now. In the spring, the Texas roads are ablaze with wild flowers. This is a photo of Bailey taken by Garth several years ago. It has always been one of my favorites.

Going Back to God's Country

Steve told us about another lake that allows you to build a dock. Has anyone heard about this place? You can go to http://www.northstarpointe.com/ and check out the website. We are going to Dallas next weekend to look for a "location" of where we want to be. Then the next step will be finding land/house. We haven't ruled out Granbury for a lakehouse, and we are still looking at Frisco because of the job opportunities for me. No matter what....we will be moving to Texas this summer!

Okay Steve

Steve said that it looked like he and Tray did not attend the wedding! So here is one of my brother and I. He will have to send some of Tray. I think he was too busy playing soccer outside whenever I had a camera out.

Enjoyed seing my aunts and one cousin. We should get together more often.

Jaime and Matt's Wedding

We just got back from Jaime and Matt's wedding in Killeen. Flew into Dallas and drove down with Garth and Kate. Meredith flew into Killeen on Thursday so she could go to a luncheon and the rehearsal dinner. She was a bridesmaid and looked beautiful in her dress. It was wonderful to be back in Texas and to be with all of our family.

Just Getting Started

After reading so many blogs lately, I decided to start my own. Looks like a good way to share photos and notes about the Rogers.
