It was wonderful to see Anthony in San Antonio. He looks fantastic....lean and mean.....and has his great sense of humor back! We are so proud of all that he has accomplished and what is yet to come. He is a true American who has sacrificed so much for all of us. Thank you Anthony!

The Boys'Fishing Trip to Canada

The boys just returned from their fishing trip to Canada. There are mixed stories of how many fish they really caught....from 400 - 700! Sounds kind of fishy to me! They could only keep six per person. I now have three northern pikes in my freezer. I know they had an experience of a lifetime!

Update on Anthony from his Aunt Cynthia

Update as of 4:00pm:
Anthony arrived in Germany at 7:45am this morning.
Anthony just got out of surgery in Germany, doctors cleaned all debris out of his left leg, put splints on his right leg, also splints on both arms and wrist. He was also given a nerve block for left leg and left hand because of pain, and now is in recovering room. His left wrist is also badly damaged. The one thing that Anthony asked his parents..."please pray for the pain that he is enduring."

Thank you for all of your continued prayers. We love and appreciate all of you.

Our best friends' son, Anthony is a medic stationed in Afghanistan. This morning there was an ambush and as he was helping a soldier, he stepped on an IED. He is alive....but please pray for him and his family.

We proudly fly our United States flag this 4th of July. The Boy Scouts had a flag fundraiser for summercamp. It is an honor to support them and our country.
